Hi All,
Tuscawilla Park in Ocala, FL plans to euthenize 200 muscovies for being "messy". here is a link to one of the many news stories:
http://www.examiner.com/a-2004852~Ocala ... _Headlines

I've written to the Park Director mentioned in the articles: Kathy Crile 'KCrile@ocalafl.org'; the Mayor: Randy Ewers 'rewers@ocalafl.org'; and head City Councilman Kyle Kay 'kkay@ocalafl.org'

Anyone else care to give them a (polite and convinceing) piece of your minds by any chance? Just a thought, I have encouraged them to use public education about feeding wildlife rather than eradication as a less expensive, more humane, and less public image-damaging method of population control.

Thank you!
