Thanks for the invite! Smile
I came over from BYC.
Hope this group is as nice as the folks at the BYC. I've invited several other people.

Some of you may know me from the BYC.
I'm not a regular but I've been posting there more often recently.
You can learn more about me and my feathered friends on my website so no need to be redundant here.

I'm from Michigan and we've been having a very COLD n' SNOWY winter so far.
Hope everybody has a great holiday season!
santa

Counting the days until spring! sunny

Beautiful geese Vicky!!! And they're nicely camouflaged in all the white stuff!

Do you have any problems with your hose freezing in the winter? How do you guys deal with that?

We drain the hose out everyday after we use it.
Pain in the butt but so is hauling buckets.

Great photos Vicky! The geese are lovely. Someday I would like to get some geese. Are the Sebastopols friendly?

Vicky sold me 3 Sebastopols, and they followed me around like puppies. Now that they are mature, they are more aloof, but will eat out of my hand, and are very conversational.

Yes they are very friendly if you raise them from babies.
Goslings raised by their parents are another story.
They do become less dependant on you they get older and breeding age (just like human kids Wink )
but I still have some that remain every friendly. Sebastopols are known for their sweet temperament. They are highly intelligent and much more personable that a chicken or duck.
Very dog like. I love mine! Love
